Been to several locations and this one was one of the best!! Drinks were strong 10/10, and server David was phenomenal! Definitely one of the go to Kalaveras now, drove an hour away to come here and was not disappointed in the ambiance, service, food, or drinks.

On the corner of Spruce and Chicago this little area has a few good food finds. Among some business centers there's ample parking. Once you walk inside you feel and see that vibrant vibe for a good time. The theme of El Dia de Los Muertos is striking with some masculine and feminine touches. There's two sides, restaurant and the bar. We opted for the bar seating because it was actually the calmer side. We enjoyed the space to ourselves. Service was excellent and attentive. Nice screens to watch a game. Bar height tables and booths to nestle in. Drinks were incredible! The choice for pitchers were the way to go. The food on the other hand has plenty of room for improvement. The rice had some hard spots kinda similar to when you reheat rice at home in the microwave. The verde enchilada was good but chicken was a little dry. Needed some flavor so added that salsa. It saved the dish! Chips were fresh and salsa was perfect. Some hits and some misses but would definitely return. Our server was awesome!
